RUMANIA: RESORTS AND SPAS.
\"Rumania is situated i south-east. Europe, in the northern part of the Balkan Peninsula, on the Lower Danube, bordering on the Black Sea. It stretches between latitudes 43°37\"07\" and 48°15\"06\" N and between longitudes 20°15°44° and 29°41\"24\" E.
CLIMATE. Rumania has a temperate-continental climate of a transitional type, with local differences depending con exposure to the general movement of air masses, relief forms.
VEGETATION AND FAUNA. Vegetation on Romania\'s territory falls into various groups, according to the primeval forest stock common to Central Europe, which in time suffered man-made alterations through deforestation and the supplanting of natural vegetation by farming cultures.
